How does SHOW STARTER™ work?
Once your show is sold, we do your pre-production and fully set up your show. We meet with you to discuss your company's needs, budget, schedule and current staff and computer capacity. We integrate your show format with your network specs to develop a production process, staffing structure, workflow, forms, databases and more. We can work intensively with you or completely independently to complete pre-production. At the end of pre-pro, we deliver your show runner the show binder, staff guide, process documentation and a computer disk, with the forms, folders and database needed to run the show.
Who is SHOW STARTER™?
SHOW STARTER™ is a team of non-fiction professionals, from creative to the line to the field to post, who have worked many years in the industry. So we can attract top talent and prioritize abilities over politics, we keep our team members' identities private of they request. What about my company and show's proprietary information?
Every SHOW STARTER™ team member is familiar with the confidentiality/non-disclosure agreements associated with reality TV and will sign one, if required, before beginning the process. Because our staff is private, we will retain the NDAs as confidential documents unless legal needs require their release.
How much does SHOW STARTER™ cost?
SHOW STARTER™'s fees are part of your pre-pro budget. We replace the weeks of highly paid EPS, line producers and support staff as we set up the show, leaving you more time and even money to hire top talent. The exact fee will be based on the size of the show, depth of the set-up and extent of the services you request, and you will receive a firm quote with your contract begins. It is our goal to set up any genre of show in three weeks.
What about credits?
SHOW STARTER™ is a production service, not a creative partner on your show. Just as you outsource and credit your post production facilities, we request credit as a "pre-production" facility. Depending on the depth of services you require, we will negotiate any additional credits with you as part of the contract.
